Soon, there’s going to be some exciting news about my grant application to set up a Little Free Library in my village, but before that, I’m hoping you’ll forgive this quick plug for my other blog… Past Departures which, as the name suggests, chronicles some of my travel experiences from the past. I’ve written about my time spent as a volunteer on a kibbutz in Israel, and currently I’m working on a bigger project, documenting the three years I lived in Japan, working as an English teacher, as a participant on the JET (Japan Exchange Teaching) Program(me). I’m telling my story based on journals that I wrote at the time. Each blog entry focuses on the same day, repeated for each year that I was in Japan. Check it out if you have a spare moment!
